EVO implantable collamer lens — Nebraska Medicine
Did you know surgeons at the Truhlsen Eye Institute can implant contact lenses you never have to remove? The EVO implantable collamer lens procedure is an alternative to LASIK and PRK and is just as safe.
Brian Armstrong, MD, recently performed the procedure on Lead Refractive Surgery Technician Brandi Fielder, and she was amazed at the results.
"Right when I got out of the OR and into pre-op, I definitely cried," says Fielder. "It was mind-blowing how quickly I could see. And then I went home and slept for the whole night and then cried again because it's crazy - it's mind-blowing how the vision turned around."
Dr. Armstrong says it's important to have the procedure performed by someone who has implanted a lot of lenses and that the patient is a good candidate for it.
"The quality of the vision is usually better than it is for contact lenses or glasses," says Dr. Armstrong. "You get the correction you need and don't get any regression. We think the long term stability of the procedure is better than anything else we can do."
Learn more about how the procedure is performed and get additional info from Fielder and Dr. Armstrong in this brief video below.

Funny, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much easier and potent now!
It's so nice and easy way to make sanitizor but I don't have these ingrediants 😂😂😂😅😅
God bless you paati

Two dislocations and a revision surgery within a month. I'm one of the unlucky ones.
Guess what James, you’re not alone. I had my first hip replacement March 13h. All was great! Suddenly, 2 dislocations 4 days apart. Absolutely traumatized, ambulance, ER/OR, reset it etc. My surgeon did the 0:41 revision May 21st. I’m about 5 wks post op. I’m still struggling a lot. This time around the healing is much slower. The pains been much greater. My surgeon said the angle of the ball was wrong. Now my new incision is inch’s away from the first one. This one had 22 staples vs 10 sutures. I get you!!!! How are you doing and how far post op are you at this point? I could use some good news because I’ve done a lot of crying over this situation. The PTSD of the dislocations won’t leave my mind either. You???
When I eat sour stuff it usually happens.. So im kinda confused on why I would want to suck on sour candy for treatment.. Please explain..
The sour candy stimulates your salivary glands to produce more saliva and to help prevent blockage. Sugar free may help but won’t prevent cavities, one of the big results from dry mouth.
Broooooooooo I'm literally so tired please fix me OMGGGGG
Mark you will be fine so try not to worry, i try and stay active and mainly eat chicken and fish, I always have oats in the morning, nuts, advacados and i cut all the junk food out, My cholestrol was 6.1 and for the last 4 years it as been around 2 to 2.5, Let me know how you get on mark.
NeEtta my heart hurts for you and the kids. I know you will have your dancing partner back in heaven one day. You and Aaron's love for God was known by all that know you. Praying for all of you during this difficult time and thank you for giving other families the gift of life. God Bless You. Much love ❤️
Your beautiful voice is like SUKOON for me.
I think I need a revision. I still need a walker to walk ...my knee is just not functional! 😢
Astonishing blows me away

Hi there, Really happy to find this kind of direct info. I’m a 47 y.o. cisgender woman in perimenopause, learning about the effects of “ovary failure”. The literature as I understand it indicates that removal of both ovaries leads to an increased mortality rate of 28%. That’s huge, especially for young people. I’m trying to find out if trans men are being informed about ALL the known increased health risks that come with menopause or if there are elements to trans gender health care that counter the risks. Do all the associated consequences of menopause apply to trans men who undergo oophorectomy? Thanks and all the best.
I truly appreciate this video.. Hank you
I was diagnosed with appendicitis cancer. Don’t know much about it

Does semen retention cause prostate cancer?
I figured out that it’s caused by lack of bile and small gallstones. I take something called gallbladder formula by Dr. Berg that increases bile and helps break up stones, before every meal and no more issues. HTH!
Thanks for sharing stories 🙏....
Thank you Mirana : )

I have been trained in a clinical pharmacist program at UNMC and visited the sterile compounding team. That was really awesome! Best wishes to you guys!
❤❤😂l like this video thanks so much
i doubt she ultimately survived this and if she did, it most likely was not Burkitt's lymphoma
🫡 respect 👏👏 I am a CNA too. Where are you based?
This is a wonderful program. As Dr O'Dell said, getting mental health care can really be challenging. From my own experience, even as a healthcare professional, I was met with roadblock after roadblock. When you are in need of help this is devastating and I almost gave up. Thanks to the health connection I was able to get my appointment and get the help I needed. They were able to cut through the tape that was keeping me in my current state. A year later, I am so much better-Thanks Health Connection.
This woman actually has dna siblings that are all grown up now.
This helped me alot to figure out which surgery im gonna do.i dont think i deal with them pullin anything thru a canal tho lol
